What Works and What Doesn’t When Teaching Large Classes?

The web is full of free resources to assist with teaching large classes. We’ve provided links to those resources here on our web page, and highlighted them in blog posts. But if you’re looking for something a little extra, that’s available as well!

UntitledMagna has recently released a 20 minute crash course in teaching large classes. Dr. Kenneth Alford, Associate Professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University, talks about what works (and what doesn’t work) in large classes. “You don’t have to compromise your expectations when you teach large classes” he says, “but you might need to alter your approach. Learn the ways to manage a large class and make it feel smaller, more intimate, and more manageable in just 20 minutes”.

The program costs $49 for online on-demand streaming and you can access it here.
